Pakistan Economic suffering from various internal and external threat like short fall of electricity and gas, high interest rate, constantly increase in petroleum princes, inflation, high cost of production, devaluation of rupees against dollar, short fall of water for corps, decreasing of exports increasing imports, terrorism and other issue.

The tragic accident on (10th Muharruam 1431 A.H) December 28, 2009 after the suicide attacked on central convey of Muharrum were 45 people lost their lives and more than 60 people were injured. All the sect and religious scholars, political parties head were categorically condemned that incident.

After that criminals and culprits burned the wholesale market of Karachi in these markets light house, Plastic markets, New and old Bulton markets, Denso Hall, Medicine Market (Katchi Gali) and other markets and shops between city court to tower. Approximately 3000 permanent carts shops and 1000 stalls on footpath were completely ruined, while initially 30 billion lost was estimated according to Trade Alliance President Mr Attique Mir. Thousands of salesmen, unemployed and shops owner become poor. Supply through these wholesale market not only effect on our export or import but also created imbalanced on demand and supply within the country.

It is once again attacked on our financial and business hub Karachi to cut the back bone of our country economy. Now this time terrorist become more clever and played twice game with us first they take lives of human being and second collateral damage our economy through burning our markets. A shop keeper (Aslam Jilaini) said “we pay sales tax, income tax wealth tax earn foreign reserves for the state but what state gives us they did not protect our business venues and how good they protected their assembly hall, CM house and governor house even foreigners and other VVIP’s.”. A large number of Rangers, Police and security agencies worker walk the Muharrum convey but they did not arrested any of one the culprits from the spot involve in the burning market.

It is also very strange situation that Interoir Ministry Mr Rehman Malik visited next day and established Bulton Market Relief in a meeting of Karachi Chamber of commerce. But he did not describe about that what imitatives have been taken to arrest culprits. He just form an investigation Committee and FIA Director will be the head of this committee. It is time to take precaution step for save our market in futures such types of terrorist attacked. Economist boost and law and orders situation related each other with poor law and order situation our economy never boost. Now it is big responsibility of state machinery and trade association representative how they take interest to rehabilitation of all wholesale market shop keepers and other victimized traders.

Although, Prime Ministry Syed yousuf Raza Gillani announce the compensation of one billion Rupees for victimized traders, CDGK chief Syed Mustafa Kamal also established a fund for them. MQM chief Altaf Hussain also established a reilf fund for the upset and sad traders. We should welcome although we are in war terror but we are ready to fight either lost our lives or wealth.

At the end, Security and law enforcement agencies should take major step for Business venues all over the country either it’s Qasakhwani Bazaar of Peshawar, Moon Market of Lahore or Bulton Market of Karachi. is our security agencies take strong and strict measure to safe our economy or they forget this incidents within the passage of time.
